Doing Good for the Planet
We all love festive decorations, but Christmas trees carry a heavy environmental footprint. Whether real or artificial, manufacturing, transport and disposal take a toll on our planet, with each fake tree adding an average of 40kg of CO2 back into our atmosphere!
Tree Twinning is a wonderful way to offset that impact. A typical fruit tree planted in Kenya absorbs between 250kg and 500kg of carbon dioxide over its lifetime, doing genuine good for the earth, offsetting the effects of your Christmas tree many times over while helping a family thrive.
What’s more, all our trees are grown in local Kenyan nurseries and cared for using sustainable agricultural techniques, so everyone’s a winner.
